Stereotyping

Stereotpying. Its everywhere, you might even be the who is stereotyping. Now some of you may say that it's not stereotpying, its ignorance. But there is a fine line between stereotyping and being just plain ignornant. Ignorance: Lack of knowledge or information: "he acted in ignorance of basic procedures." The stereotpying I will be talking about is: GLBT, Pansexual, Goth, Scene, and Emo. First off the NOT all gays carry little dogs, walk and talk feminine, and have sex all day. Lesbians are NOT lazy, masculine women who sit around getting fat. Bisexuals and pansexuals ARE very much different. Transgendered means that they believe they were not born in the right body. They don't feel comfortablein the skin they are in. Pansexuals, they believe in loving someone for their soul, not for them being female or male. They are NOT like bisexuals, bisexuals like both female and male, you could almost say they can't make up their mind. Goth stands for Gothic Death Rock (music type). Goths in general, just like to keep to themselves, they do like darker clothing, and dark stuff; but they don't murder animals, or have long black hair, and nail polish, or have black lipstick, and creepy long nails. That right their is a stereotype. Scenes don't always wear fake glasses and its not only scenes, girly-girls do it too. Not all scenes dye their hair the colors of the rainbow. And last but most definately not least, Emo's. Emo's stands for Emotive Hardcore (music type). Now Emo people themselves aren't lonely, have no friends, like black, and even worse...cut themsleves. You don't have to cut yourself to be emo, and you don't have to be emo to cut yourself. Just because some people may self-harm or more specifically, cut themselves doesn't mean they're emo. All those jokes about people who cut themselves. Its not a joke, its an addiction. All those jokes, when I hear them, it upsets me. Some people can't express sadness, or being upset like others.

And one last thing I'd like to share. If someone's "special" or mentally retarded. Jokes like your a retard or your retarded/that's retared, it's insulting. And if you you wouldn't want someone to call you that or make fun of you, then don't do it to others.

What Happens When...

  What happens when someone you used to be close with, slowly stops be close. You gradually and slowly start to drift away. One of you chooses to hang with someone else, the other watches behind the curtains. You don't care, you never cared; you always knew it wouldn't last forever. Then why do you feel this way? Is it because you feel alone now? No one understood you like they did? Because even though you hate to admit you miss them, and did need them, and you don't want to be alone. No one does.

What is a Friend?

What is a friend? Is it someone who likes what you likes? Understands you like others might not?

Yes those are good qualities to have period, but to be a good friend is something that not a lot of people can do. To be a good friend is to tell them the truth, see the good in them, try to help them if they aren't being the best they could be. Something you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DO IS: make them feel like shit if they did nothing wrong. Not everyone is perfect, although we try to be. We need help from the people around us. It may be hard for us in a society like this to admit we're wrong, but if you want to change you need to see whats wrong with you. And thats what a friend is; someone who can do that, tell you all thats wrong with you and not make youo feel like your the worst thing that set foot on the planet. And thats not even all that a friend could do, there's more. But once you find a friend like that don't you ever let them go, because when you do you'll most likely never find another one. Once you find a friend like that you'll know you'll have a friendship for a lifetime, and you'll know all the other qualities/traits in being a friend. But before you find a friend, you first have to be a friend.

Remember it takes a lifetime to find that special friend, don't let them go.

Justin Bieber

Well this post you may think is childish and stupid, but I think it's realistic and many people feel this way. Its about Justin Bieber. Now many girls are "in love" with this teenage sensation, whether its from at least ages 4-30. Yes, 30 yr olds like him to, believe it or not. He does have a great voice, but he also helps kids everywhere. He truly has a good heart; people might not like him because they're not into that music etc., but those who strongly dislike him are probably envious of his fame, or that he had the courage to follow his dreams.

 But that is not what this post was about. It was about many of fans being "in love" with Justin Bieber. Most of these fans are called "Beliebers." Now that Bieber is in a relationship w/ Selena Gomez, the "Beliebers" are threatening Gomez. Now I hate to admit it, but I "like" Bieber. I am not a Belieber, but I think he's sweet, kind, cute, and a good voice. I still like Gomez. But admitting Justin has changed from then and now, he also changed when beginning to date Gomez.

Now above me it shows one of the ways Justin has change since Selena. And I get it all boys/guys do this. Yes, but he is in the eyes of the public, and has fans from the youngest ages of at least 3 or 4. In my opinion if he wants to do that he could at least do it in his own home, or in private. As Justin Bieber is not ugly, have you looked in a mirror? said on facebook, "...do they ever take a break????" They are boyfriend & girlfriend, but its true they've been seen kissing a lot lately. Not with any other of his girlfriends have we seen him kissing as much as he has kissed Gomez. Thats my input, what's yours? I would like to know.

Social Internet Websites

One thing I don't like about social websites is that I'm not popular, I don't have as many friends, I  don't get as many views, or people following me. I'm just not as popular. Well I guess, its has something to do with the fact that I'm not popular in real life. Some friends I know at least have a lot of people that like them online but I don't have as much. That's why when I get one follower, one MORE view, another comment, or subscriber, or friend; it makes me extremely happy. I don't know, maybe I'm the only one. Your imputs, comment.

What Can Kill You and You Don't Even Know.

So again I was listening to Rosie Radio today, and they were talking about pots and pans that were toxic and could KILL YOU or shorten your life.  Shoshana was going to ask for a Calphalon non-stick cookware but she heard that Teflon causes cancer and was told not to get it. So to cut it short Shoshana read about it in many different places that Teflon could, could not be safe. She said something later that I liked, "There are many toxic things now" and I agreed. I said, "We all gotta die of something." Its the truth and my mom laughed. So this was very short, if you wanna leave a comment saying that wherever you read its says...then go ahead I'd really like to know.
